Toby Keith’s “Bullets in the Gun”

Toby Keith preceded his current American Ride Tour with an unexpected club show in New York City, and he’s releasing his new album with an extra something special, too. The 15th full-length studio album “Bullets In The Gun” will also be available as a Deluxe Edition upon its Oct. 5 release, adding four live tracks to the standard album.

Recorded during his “Incognito Bandito” show at The Fillmore in Manhattan, the four songs feature Keith on lead vocals backed by an A-list band of session players assembled exclusively for the rare club performance.

Those recordings bring the Deluxe Edition’s track list to 14

Kenny Chesney’s Invitation Only Premiers on CMT this Month

Kenny Chesney is the latest superstar headed to the Invitation Only stage when an all-new episode premieres Monday, September 27 at 10:00 p.m.- 11:00 p.m., ET/PT.

Taped before a small studio audience in Nashville, the Invitation Only series features artists performing their biggest hits and new favorites, as well as answering questions from fans during an informal question and answer session.

In this one-hour special, Kenny performs some of his biggest hits including “When The Sun Goes Down”, “Out Last Night,” and more. Kenny also debuts five new songs from his forthcoming album, Hemingway’s Whiskey, including the title track and his latest single “Boys of Fall”.

While answering questions from fans, Kenny reveals the strangest gift he has ever received from a fan, gives his advice to new artists and discusses what stands out about his new album.

Invitation Only will debut monthly this fall with Toby Keith on Friday, October 8 and Rascal Flatts on Monday, November 15.

The duo will also give an exclusive performances of some of their greatest hits, “My Maria”, “Red Dirt Road,” “Believe,” “You Are Gonna Miss Me,” and “Honky Tonk Stomp,” off their album #1s. Some special celebrity guests also make an appearance including; Keith Urban and Toby Keith.

Toby Keith Covers People Magazine-Country Edition

Toby Keith may be known as a tough guy on the country music scene, but at home he’s just dad….and sometimes Coach.  People magazine sat down with Toby to discuss his jock side.  For the past six years, Toby has coached his son’s football team. It doesn’t appear that Stelen’s team mates care that their dad has a room-full of awards at home.

“Kids do better with that than adults do,” Keith, 49, tells PEOPLE Country for its September issue. “They are just, ‘Hey, coach! Can I go in?’

Not only does Toby coach football, but every night his son and a “herd” of his friends come over to shoot hoops.

“He’s 13 and has a size 13 shoe,” Keith laughs. “So he’s a bigger kid than I was at his age.”

Toby seems perfectly content in all the hats he wears…dad, coach, and country music superstar. You can read more at People.com.

Kenny Chesney, Toby Keith, Miranda Lambert and Rascal Flatts are headed to the Invitation Only stage when all new episodes begin airing Monday, August 23rd. Miranda Lambert will kick-off the new episodes when Invitation Only: Miranda Lambert premiers on Monday, August 23rd at 9:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m., ET/PT.

New episodes of Invitation Only will debut monthly this fall featuring Kenny Chesney premiering Monday, September 27th, Toby Keith on Friday, October 8th and Rascal Flatts on Monday, November 15th. Toby Keith will be in Green Bay on Monday, Oct. 24th 2010 to host the WWE’s Monday Night Raw.

If Y100 (WNCY-FM, Green Bay) air personalities Bryan Scott & Charli McKenzie can get enough people join their page, they are hoping Toby Keith will agree to sing the National Anthem on Sunday, October 24th when the Vikings come to town for Sunday Night Football against the Green Bay Packers!

Nashville Rising Concert Raised an Astounding $2.2 Million for Flood Relief

Last month’s “Nashville Rising” benefit concert raised more than $2.2 million for flood relief efforts.

The money comes from tickets sales, donations and sponsorships for the June 22 concert, which was held at Bridgestone Arena.

Tim McGraw and Faith Hill hosted and performed during the event.  With Amy Grant, Billy Ray Cyrus, Blake Shelton, Carrie Underwood, Jason Aldean, Julie Roberts, LeAnn Rimes, Luke Bryan, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Martina McBride, Michael W. Smith, Miley Cyrus, Miranda Lambert, Montgomery Gentry, Taylor Swift, Toby Keith and ZZ Top also lending their voices. Celebrity appearances also included Sandra Bullock and Vince Young.

Weekend Fourth Of July TV Specials – DVR Alerts

Some country stars are busy this Sunday, doing live TV specials for the Fourth of July.

  • Toby Keith headlines the Boston Pops special on CBS.
  • LeAnn Rimes is one of the lead names for NBC’s fireworks special overlooking the Hudson River. She’ll be there with Justin Bieber and Enrique Iglesias.
  • And PBS’s annual event, called “A Capitol Fourth” features Reba McEntire, Darius Rucker and John Schneider.

All three specials feature fireworks.
