No Justice – “2nd Avenue” Available TODAY!

“2nd Avenue” is somewhere you’ll want to be with the album of one of Texas’ hottest bands this year! No Justice has shared the stage with Dierks Bentley and Pat Green and have seven top 10 hits, two #1 singles in Texas and torn up the radio waves in both Texas and Oklahoma.

To date they are regionally well known but with over 200 tour dates are quickly becoming known around the country. The band has a solid sound as demonstrated on this album.

The lead single, “Love Song” is a good balance of lyrics and instrumentals. There are some awesome riffs and strong drumming that accompanies the lyrics of a love lost, although upbeat in rhythm. This is a steady tempo, toe tapping love-lost-song where the singer wants another chance and a little romance with a love song.

“2nd Avenue” is a fast tempo song with lots of drums and soft verses breaking out into a strong rock-ballad tempo with a repetitive hook of “take me back to 2nd Avenue……take me to you”. He keeps searching for answers and looking for her through the streets everywhere but can’t find a trace, so he wants to go back to 2nd Avenue, back in time to her.

“Going Nowhere” is a rock-rhythm song about a young gal with her feet on the dash as they drive along on a great summer night. This is one of those songs you’ll relate to your youth with – driving nowhere, running along in the breeze and just “going nowhere”. Loved those summer nights!

BamaJam Music Festival Just Got Bigger!

Looks like the BamaJam Music & Arts Festival promises to get bigger and bigger each year.  2009 will be the second annual 3 day rockin country music festival that is held in a 450-acre outdoor entertainment center in Enterprise, Alabama.   This years festival will be JUNE 4-6, 2009 (I wonder if this is why they changes the weekend of CMA Fest?)

Anyways…this is going to be a great treat this year.  I just got a press release that says: Kid Rock, Gary Allan, Blake Shelton, Pat Green, Luke Bryan, Aaron Tippin and John Anderson have been confirmed to perform.

Other people already on the bill to perform: Brooks & Dunn, Alan Jackson, Taylor Swift, Charlie Daniels, 38 Special, Jason Aldean, Jamey Johnson and The Whigs.
