I stumbled upon this painting online…Nicole Kidman, Keith Urban, and Sunday Rose are playing with a teddy bear. The artist, Carole Bayer Sager, is trying her hand at some new styles.
I’m very excited about all the new artwork I’m doing. For the first time, I’ve tried a narrative painting: it’s a work in progress, called “The Thanksgiving Bear.” If you notice, both Nicole and her beautiful Sunday Rose are both staring at the talking bear, and Keith’s looking with love at his daughter.

Okay, it’s official…Keith Urban may in fact be the world’s most perfect man. As if the smokin-hot guitar slingin kills, totally dashing smile, and charming Aussie accent weren’t quite enough; Keith also isn’t afraid to add a little spice to the married life. According to Glamour.com, Keith picked-up a little something kinky for he and wife Nicole for Valentine’s Day.
“He got a naughty schoolgirl outfit, a matching red and black bra and panty set from the Sweetheart Lace Collection and a matching set from the brand new Aphrodite line in red and black,” says a source.
The only thing that could make that a better V-day present is if it included a box of chocolates and a gift certificate for a maid and nanny…but wait…they already have the maid and nanny…Darnit.
Granted, I probably wouldn’t be thrilled with this gift from my hubby…but then again, my hubby isn’t Keith Urban. And let’s face it, I couldn’t pull-off that outfit quite like Nicole Kidman. But this gift does explain why they are always canoodling on the red carpet, and lookin all oogly at each other.

The best concert pairing I’ve seen on a tour was Dierks Bentley and Keith Urban. However, TheBoot.com puts these two in a completely different ‘play date’ scenario. It appears good looks and sweet sounds aren’t the only things these two have in common. Both guys also have toddler girls waddling around their homes, and both guys talked about their ‘new’ relationship on trips to Country Countdown with Lon Helton. Keith and wife Nicole Kidman are good friends with Dierks and Cassidy. They often arrange playdates for daughters Evie and Sunday.
“The last time was actually at Dierks’ place, and I hadn’t been there before because he had just moved,” says Keith. “And I had to call him to say ‘well, what’s the exact location?’ And he was actually in the car going to the airport. And I said, ‘Well, we’re coming over there.’ And he said, ‘Yeah, I know, but I gotta leave out on the road, but Cassidy’s gonna be there. But I got up real early and I’ve been cleaning the place ridiculously. It’s spotless, and it’s absolutely fantastic, but I’m not gonna be there to enjoy any of it ’cause I’m hitting the road.’ What a good work ethic, what a good man he is.”
Dierks clarified on his trip to the countdown.
Actually, we’ve got this cool screened in porch,” says Dierks. “It’s an old house, it’s a 1930s house, and I was discovering all sorts of stuff on the ground, like nails sticking out of the ground and stuff … and a couple of loose screws just sitting around. So, I was out there literally on my hands and knees making sure there wasn’t any sort of trip hazards or anything that was gonna cause some blood to come about. But, that’s pretty funny.”
I was wondering how I can get in on this playdate action. I have two daughters who would make an excellent addition to this little group…

4 Comments »George Clooney’s Hope for Haiti Now telethon on Friday night raised some serious money for the disaster releif efforts. MTV is reporting so far the total is just over $58 million. Taylor Swift, Keith Urban, and Nicole Kidman participated in the telethon.

Keith Urban and wife Nicole Kidman sang and performed a little song parody for fellow Aussie,Simon Baker, at the G’day USA dinner celebrating Aussies who impact the USA. The tune was sung to the Men at Work classic “Down Under.”
“His name is Simon Baker,” they sang to laughs in the crowd.
“Surfer dude. Home renovator. He was bound to be a Hollywood player.”
This may be the ONLY time we see Keith and Nicole do a duet, and it’s a funny treat indeed.
My favorite line is “sexy baby maker.” hehe

Forbes has released it’s top earning couples of 2009 and some of country music’s couples made the top 15. Tim McGraw and Faith Hill along with Katherine Heigl and Josh Kelley (brother of Lady Antebellum’s Charles Kelley) racked in some serious cash just before Keith Urban and Nicole Kidman slid into 15th place with a measly $17 million…
Country music would really have this in the bag if Kenny Chesney would get hitched already.
