Before we could ever really confirm the relationship it is over! According to US Magazine Taylor Swift and Taylor Lautner have called it quits after only 3 months together.
A source close to Taylor told US Mag -
“It wasn’t really developing into anything, and wasn’t going to, so they decided they were better as friends,” “There was no chemistry, and it felt contrived.”
According to the article their relationship officially fizzled when Lautner flew to Nashville for Taylor’s birthday party on Dec. 13, a friend of the singer reveals.
“He liked her more than she liked him. He went everywhere he could to see her, but she didn’t travel much to see him.”
Hopefully the two plan to stay friends as I would assume they will be seeing each other this February when “Valentine’s Day” is released.
UPDATED: All you single ladies don’t get too excited about Mr. Lautner being single yet. Sources tell me that the break up rumor may have originated with the National Enquirer – NOT US Magazine and that the two may still be a couple. I’m not going to hold my breath on a statement from Taylor Squared since they have neverconfirmed the relationship but I will be keeping my eyes open to see if they make an appearance together soon.
What is funny is the National Enquirer says that one of the reason for the break up is their differences in food choices. It kinda made me laugh out loud. When Taylor was in Nashville he didn’t seem to mind eating up some of our fantastic Pancake Pantry.

Of course they have. When has Taylor Swift ever stayed with a ‘boyfriend’ for very long? She’s getting publicity for meeting guys, dating them and then they break up with a lot of publicity. What sort of a role model is she? Date boys, be seen with them, and then after a short amount of time – break up with them so everyone can feel sorry for you? I don’t think she’s sending a very good message and she’s gaining a bad reputation. I wouldn’t want my daughter to see how she’s running from one boy to the next and then to another one.
@Sbart855 It never ceases to amaze me; the things that come out people’s mouths, (or through their fingers on a keyboard for that matter,) without proccessing through their brain, first. I’m no rocket scientist, but it doesn’t take one to know/see through even the publicity of it that Joe Jonas, a year ago last October, hurt the HECK out of Taylor and really broke her heart. I’ve been through that myself and it takes a while to learn to open up to people again when you’ve been seriously hurt. She’s not just a ‘singer’ or a ‘rolde model’ she’s a human being like you or me and she goes through what we all go through and she deals with it like a real person would. What better ‘role model’ is there than someoe who is up front and honest about who they are, how they feel and how they cope with things, their struggles as well as their triumphs. Again, not rocket science, just plain every day common sense. Think before you type again, for god’s sake!!
All the hatred is so unfortunate. I believe we will all have to account for our words one day.
