I haven’t been able to find confirmation on this but it seems that Chris Cagle has been dropped from Capitol Nashville. Amazon.com is showing Capitol will be releasing a “Best of Chris Cagle” album on Feb. 9th but people are talking on message boards that they have dropped him from their roster.
There is no mention of him on the Capitol Nashville website and no confirmation that he has been dropped. We will keep you updated if we are able to find out any other information.
If they dropped him it’s a shame. I really liked his music….
UPDATED: Guess I was out of the loop on this one! Chris and Capitol parted ways many months ago. Chris is working on a new album although he has not yet signed with a new label.

This is old old old old news. He was dropped quite a while ago.
Chris and Capitol parted ways several months ago. According to Chris he has a new album in the works (not with Capitol) so we’ll see what comes. I hope he’s finding himself a new label. I absolutely love him.
I love me some Chris Cagle!! I was just listening to a couple of his songs on my IPod this morning!
