Carrie Underwood performed at the CNN Heros: All-Star Tribute which was televised last night. Keith Urban’s wife, Nicole Kidman was also a presenter during the show.

What a stunningly heartfelt performance—–and what a great song to get the message out that we can all do our part to help–with just a smile, a touch, a kind word or a little change. She deserved the standing ovation she received. My parents and I were so touched by the heroes that were honored and Carrie’s performance. Carrie is always giving back and caring for others. She is such a good role model and such a good ambassador for country music.
