This is embarrassing but several years ago I volunteered to bring the pumpkin pie to our family Thanksgiving feast! I did what all the other normal last minute people do and I bought one from Village Inn! Only problem is I thought it was already cooked so I took it to my family get-together an hour and a half away and when I got there I had a trunk full of pumpkin soup!!! Every year I get volunteered to bring the pumpkin pie now as a running joke in the family! Haven’t touched it since!
