It seems that the John Rich vs. Jarred Ashley woes may finally be over….for a little while anyways.

According to The Tennessean General Sessions Judge John Aaron Hold has this to say;

“This was a private club, there was no evidence of physical injuries, or pictures of bruising or cuts… If he hit (Ashley) in the jaw with that big ring I see he’s wearing, it would’ve cut him, although I don’t know if he was wearing it at that time.”

The former ”Nashville Star’ contestant, Jared Ashley, claimed John threatened and harassed him countless times over the past year.  Nine witnesses were sworn in to testify in the case, which also included assault charges against John — those are still being addressed.

John has said he took the case to court after Jared demanded $3 million to drop the charges against him. After the hearing, John said he’s relieved his version of the story is finally out there.

“Everyone knows now I am not out there doing the things I’ve been accused of,” John said. “It’s a good feeling.”
