I was so excited to see Jamey Johnson fresh off of his CMA win! Randy was up first and got the crowd rocking. He played a lot of new songs he says will be on his next album. He was interacting with the crowd so well and truly is a great performer. My favorite of the night was his newest single Whistlin Dixie.
Next was Jamey Johnson and it seemed that more of the crowd was familiar with him. Everyone was singing the words to every song he played. There was a drunk girl next to me and was being just well drunk and security took her out. However Jamey didn’t approve and wouldn’t play until she was brought back in. It was great of him to do that but she should have been kicked out. The tour manager brought her on stage to say hello to Jamey and the show went on..and the drunk girl came right back to doing what she was doing. After he had played On Color he told the crowd that now I have played it and the people who just came to hear that song can leave now. Then it was an all star jam session with Randy Houser playing covers and other songs and was truly amazing.
