Luke Bryan Doesn’t Need to ‘Apologize’

Luke Bryan is famous for his One Republic cover “Apologize.”  Well, “Apologize” he does on his sophmore album, Doin My Thing.    Entertainment Weekly is featuring Luke’s version this week, and it seems that writer Whitney Pastorek digs it.

It’s that experience of hearing a familiar song out of context that shakes it up — to me, Bryan’s version is even sadder thanks to the mournful twang of its Nashville arrangement, and he sings the stuffing out of it…

Um, yes, Luke sings the stuffing out of everything…In fact, he can sing the stuffing outta me anytime he wants. Take a listen to Luke Bryan’s version of “Apologize” here.

Doin My Thing hits store shelves on October 6th. You can preorder the album from his website www.lukebryan.com and receive your copy autographed, or you can hit-up iTunes and get 2 bonus tracks…Or, if you’re really smart, you’ll do both cuz Luke deserves it.

I have had the good fortune to be front and center, elbows on the stage close to witness Luke sing the stuffing out of Apologize 2 or 3 times. He truly does not get enough recognition for his astounding vocals!
