Well, Taylor Swift’s “You Belong With Me” video was nominated for female video of the year against Beyonce…Guess what? She WON!!! However, Kanye West took it upon himself to steel her thunder…take a look at the video….What a jerk! I don’t care what anyone thinks of Taylor, that was just disrespectful…
**Oh, in a side note…Taylor arrived at the VMA’s in true Taylor-style…via horse-drawn princess carraige.

According to Entertainment Tonight:
Swift said in the press conference, “Before the talented artist, the superstar, she’s always been a great person and I just, I thought that I couldn’t love Beyonce more tonight and then tonight happened and it was just wonderful.”
Initially Swift was excited to see West join her on stage. She said, “Then I wasn’t so excited anymore…”
The young star handled this all in stride, saying, “I don’t know him and I don’t want to start anything because I just had a great night tonight.” She also expressed gratitude for all the supportive text messages she received throughout the night.

Kanye has done some pretty outrageous things, but to interrupt country musics sweetheart, Taylor Swift, is a really low blow. He should be completely ashamed- although I know he’s not. I’m so happy VMA and MTV kicked his ass out. And Beyonce letting Taylor come out and complete her speech was very classy. I’m not really a fan of hers, but her gesture was really thoughtful. And to see all the celebrity tweets supporting Taylor was really awesome.

I find it hard to believe that a grown man could show that much of poor sportsmanship. If you have something to say, then say it after the shows; don’t ruin it for Taylor or anyone else.
Kanye displayed tonight that he is a racist and very shallow when it comes to music appreciation. He should not be allowed into any awards ceremonies until he displays a sincere apology to Taylor and her millions and millions of fans like myself.
Kanye West has repeatedly displayed his oversize ego through rude and unacceptable behavior. It really is time for someone to put him in check. That was one of the rudest things anyone could do to another entertainer. I’m sure that Beyonce does not need him to acit as her spokesman. There is more to popular music than R&B and Rap and neither one these genres should be expected to dominate the VMA’s and surely their artists should learn respect for others and display good manners.
