Carrie Underwood is finally going to give us some new music. She will release an as yet untitled-third album on November 3rd.  She is collaborating again with Mark Bright, who produced her 2007 album “Carnival Ride” and seven tracks on her 2005 debut, “Some Hearts.”
Earlier this year, Carrie became the first country artist in history to have her first 10 singles achieve #1 status. (thank you to the anonymous poster for the correction)
We are very excited to hear something new from Carrie but are afraid we are going to be hearing more of the same from her. She is so talented…..I wish she would step out of her comfort zone a litle bit and really put herself out there for us to see.

Carrie’s definitely working with some new writers this time around. Everybody from Whistlin’ Bill Anderson and Jon Randall to Marcus Hummon/Darrell Scott who are great country writers to Mike Elizondo who’s more a soul/R&B/pop guy.
Here’s a list of songs Carrie’s cowritten for the new album from BMI and ASCAP (posted at Pulse http://pulsemusic.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=artistaj&action=display&thread=85716&page=1):
Co-written songs (writing credits listed in alphabetical order; title links are to the publishing database where the song is registered; writer links are to All Music Guide’s list of their written/co-written songs that have been released):
“Better Off” (Luke Laird, Hillary Lindsey, Carrie Underwood)
“Butterflies” (Mike Elizondo, Brett James, Carrie Underwood)
“Come Catch Me” (Barry Dean, Carrie Underwood, Troy Verges)
“Cowboy Casanova” (Mike Elizondo, Brett James, Carrie Underwood)
“Eighteen Inches” (Ashley Gorley, Kelley Lovelace, Carrie Underwood); also at ASCAP

“Kill the Headlights” (Luke Laird, Hillary Lindsey, Carrie Underwood)
“Lie to Me Again” (Katrina Elam, Ashley Monroe, Carrie Underwood)
“Little Red Flags” (Natalie Hemby, Luke Laird, Carrie Underwood)
“Lord Help Me” (Katrina Elam, Ashley Monroe, Carrie Underwood)
“My Favorite Part” (Katrina Elam, Ashley Monroe, Carrie Underwood)
“Oklahoma Wind” (Bill Anderson, Jon Randall, Carrie Underwood)
“Play On” (Natalie Hemby, Luke Laird, Carrie Underwood)
“Starting Now” (Barry Dean, Travis Meadows, Carrie Underwood)
“Sugarush” (Katrina Elam, Ashley Monroe, Carrie Underwood)
“Sweet Talker” (Barry Dean, Carrie Underwood, Troy Verges)
“That Girl Is Gone” (Ashley Gorley, Kelley Lovelace, Carrie Underwood); also at ASCAP
“This Song Is Not About You” (Marcus Hummon, Darrell Scott, Carrie Underwood)
“To My Favorite Fan” (Luke Laird, Hillary Lindsey, Carrie Underwood); also at ASCAP
“Too Young to Know” (Luke Laird, Hillary Lindsey, Carrie Underwood)
“Waiting on Goodbye” (Barry Dean, Wendell Mobley, Carrie Underwood)
“What Am I Gonna Wear Friday Night” (Marcus Hummon, Darrell Scott, Carrie Underwood)
“Wine After Whiskey” (Dave Berg, Tom Shapiro, Carrie Underwood)
This is an album that I am really looking foward to.
“Earlier this year, Carrie became the first country artist in history to achieve 10 number 1 singles.”
This statement is incorrect. Did you mean have her first 10 singles go to #1?
Yes, thank you for the correction anonymous….
You have no idea how excited I am! Can’t wait for the first single to air!!!
How can you see her music sounds the same, have you ever listened to her cd. Her songs are just as diverse as any other country artist. She is very talented, and is growing in her music and everything she does. She is doing alot more writing this time around, and I can’t wait to her new music.
[...] We told you last week that she has a brand new album set to release November 3rd this year and according to Carrie she has been focusing on writing and recording; I can’t multitask that well, I suppose,” she said of taking time off from touring to record. “I like to be focused on one thing and do the best possible job I can, no matter what that one thing is, whether I’m completely touring or completely writing or completely recording. That’s how I operate. Right now, it’s been really nice. I’m still working very hard, but I get to go home to my own bed at night, which is really nice.” [...]
