Doug Stone (Douglas Jackson Brooks) was arrested in Panama City, FL for allegedly battering his 22 year old son, Dustin Brooks.
When Police arrived at the residence, they were told by security guards that he was on the floor with his son in a headlock. Police say his son was was attacked after he badgered his father about wrecking a car earlier and being intoxicated.
Doug Stone had some major hits in the early 1990′s with “In a Different Light” and “Why Didn’t I Think of That.”

I don’t see why people attack Doug Stone but not other country stars when they get arrested. Give Doug a break!!!! His CD ”My Turn” would beat the crap out of all the pop country in sales!!!!!!!
