Some may not think this is news worthy since I didn’t have my camera with me tonight but I am going to tell you anyways. 

I took my kids out for a fun night at Chuck E Cheese and happened to literally run into Richie McDonald.  You know, the guy that used to be the lead singer of Lonestar.  He was very nice and said excuse me but you could tell that he didn’t want to be “noticed” or approached.    

Sorry I didn’t have my camera with me to snap a shot but it would have just been a picture of him playing games with his kids. 

I LOVED LONESTAR back in the day.   Richie actually left the group in November 2007 for a solo career.   He released his first solo album I Turn to You on June 3, 2008.  I don’t remember hearing anything about it so I don’t think it was a chart topper.

One last fun fact about Lonestar while I am rambling; Did you know that my bad boy John Rich was Lonestars bass guirtarist and second lead vocalist until 1998, when he was fired from the group.  LOL
